Job summary

St Charles' Catholic Primary School Ryde in NSW invites applications for a Part-Time Family Educator (0.6FTE) on a temporary 2-year contract. You’ll build strong partnerships between families, parish and the school community and tailor initiatives to meet local needs.

You’ll collaborate with the principal, parents, parish staff, the Religious Education Coordinator and wider church agencies. A baptised Catholic with parish ministry experience is preferred, along with strong communication and

Qualifications

• A baptised Catholic committed to living the faith.
• Experience in parish/pastoral ministry with adults and families preferred.
• Ability to articulate evangelising and catechesis mission of the Catholic Church.
• Ability to initiate, organise and facilitate activities for families and parish.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to participate in formation programs facilitated by SCS Central Office.
