Job summary

Uniting AgeWell Limited is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (Med Endorsed) for Permanent Part Time shifts (Sun, Mon, Tue 14:45–22:00) and Casuals across Box Hill and surrounding locations in Victoria. You will provide leadership to Personal Care Workers and support Registered Nurses to deliver resident-centered care in a safe, respectful environment.

Essential registration with AHPRA (Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse), minimum 2 years in aged care, and experience with dementia and palliative care are

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2)
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Enrolled Nurse in residential aged care (must have)
• Demonstrated experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
• Excellence in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving
• Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills
• Team-oriented with one-to-one interactions with care partners
• Committed to BEST values-based culture

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers
• Deliver high quality, person-centred care to residents and families
• Support nursing staff with assessment, care planning, documentation and evaluation
• Analyse risk and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses
• Coordinate daily routines and ensure safe medication practices in consultation with the Registered Nurse
