Job summary

Beyond the Clouds is seeking an empathetic Early Childhood Educator (Early Intervention) to work with 0–5 year olds in Hassall Grove, NSW. This part-time role focuses on delivering tailored intervention strategies in a supportive, play-based setting.

You will collaborate with families and professionals to support holistic development, document progress, and promote children's independence while upholding safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Current Early Childhood Education qualification or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Understanding of developmental milestones for 0–5 years.
• WWC clearance or willingness to obtain one prior to employment.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification suitable for early childhood settings.
• Strong observation and assessment skills to identify strengths and needs.
• Experience implementing play-based learning to support development.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with families and colleagues.
• Genuine passion for inclusive early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individualised early intervention strategies tailored to each child's developmental needs and learning goals.
• Observe and assess children's development across physical, cognitive, social and emotional domains.
• Create safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments fostering exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate with families, educators and allied health professionals to support holistic development.
• Implement evidence-based teaching practices aligned with early childhood curricula.
• Document progress and communicate milestones with families.
• Support transitions, promote independence, self-regulation and social skills.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in reflective professional practice.
• Uphold duty of care and maintain a clean, safe learning space.
