Job summary

Kool Beanz Ocean Shores is seeking a passionate Assistant Educator (Certificate III) to support learning and development in a cosy, child-centred setting. Be part of a small team and contribute to EYLF-aligned programs in a nurturing environment.

You will work part-time hours between 6.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, in Ocean Shores, NSW. WWC and First Aid are required, with opportunities for professional development and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working toward a qualification.
• Compliance: WWC and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain them.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for Education: Genuine love for children and a positive impact on learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the educator team to deliver engaging EYLF-aligned programs with child-led learning.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Help the centre meet the National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Provide flexible support across rooms as a Float Educator to maintain high-quality care.
