Job summary

genU is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in Perth (North Metro) to help customers with disabilities achieve their goals through accommodation and community engagement. The role is permanent part-time with rosters to review and a focus on person-centred support.

The team requires a Certificate III in Disability or similar, NDIS Worker Screening, and a valid driver’s licence; benefits include salary packaging, retailer discounts, and study scholarships.

Qualifications

• Well-developed interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve goals and outcomes.
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review rosters and ensure shifts align with the plan.
• Support customers in daily living skills (meal prep, housekeeping, showering, toileting, medication).
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed.
• Handle administration duties and mandatory reporting.
