Job summary

Life Without Barriers in Chinchilla is seeking a Disability Support Worker (Male) for permanent part-time hours, 1–2 days per week, 2–5 hours per shift, with Monday–Friday flexibility and occasional Saturdays. You will support a person with disability who enjoys fishing, BBQs, and events, applying active, person-centred approaches.

The role requires experience with disability, mobility support and CPR/First Aid, strong communication, and probity checks. Applicants must be male.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disability.
• Passionate about active support.
• Experience with mobility support and manual handling.
• Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities.
• Maintain thorough record keeping.
