Job summary

Ability Options in Kempsey, NSW is seeking experienced Support Workers for our accommodation team. This permanent part-time role (20 hrs/wk) offers $36.22 per hour, plus Super, salary packaging and penalty rates.

You will provide personal care and support to participants in line with our mission to help people live their best life. You will work as part of a team, assisting with daily living, activities, transport and documentation, with a focus on safety and compassionate care while embracing

Qualifications

Providing personal care and support activities of daily living in a residential setting.
Experience with participants with complex medical needs and/or complex behavioural challenges.
Current driver licence (minimum P2) and access to a mobile device meeting system requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care including toileting, showering, dressing and feeding as required.
Support participants to explore interests and hobbies through programs and recreational activities.
Transport participants to events and appointments.
Complete progress notes, charts and incidental reports.
