Job summary

Mini Masterminds is seeking a Part-Time Diploma Educator to join our centres across Leichhardt and Erskineville, Canberra and surrounding NSW locations. The role involves travel between centres, delivering play-based learning and supporting children’s development in a nurturing environment.

Applicants should hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, WWCC, and current First Aid/CPR. 20 hours per week over five days with travel between centres.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid/CPR certifications.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of play-based educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to centre-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support children's wellbeing, learning and development through meaningful interactions.
