Job summary

Headstart Early Learning Centre Geelong is seeking an experienced Cook to prepare high quality, nutritious meals for up to 136 children daily. The role is part-time (33 hours per week) with set shifts Monday to Friday.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification with relevant cook experience, WWC/Blue Card, and First Aid. Food Safety Supervisor certification is preferred.

• Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control.
• Dietary and allergy safe requirements.
• Ensuring a clean and safe kitchen in line with Food Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 136 children each day.
• Work with set shift days Monday to Friday.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
