Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will prepare delicious, healthy meals for children, while adhering to safety, dietary requirements and quality standards.

This Permanent Part Time role covers 26.5 hours per week with competitive pay (above award) and a 50% discount on childcare gap fees. Qualifications include Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or childcare cooking experience, plus Working with Children checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent childcare cooking experience.
• Current VicWorking with Children Check.
• National Child Safety Foundation Training (via Gecckoplatform) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals safely, accounting for dietary requirements and allergies.
• Plan menus and help order supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
• Maintain high standards of food safety in storage, handling and preparation.
• Work a part-time roster of 26.5 hours per week.
