Guzman y Gomez in Australia is seeking a part-time Cook to join our team, delivering fresh, quality Mexican dishes in a fast-paced hospitality environment from early morning to late evening in Leopold, Victoria.

You will follow the GYG recipe guide, work with fresh ingredients, and benefit from flexible rosters, free uniforms, staff meals, training support, and pathways into leadership, within a supportive team culture.

Competenze

• Experience in a kitchen or cooking role in a busy hospitality environment.
• Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience.
• Good understanding of food safety concerns.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for people that are available part time, with flexible availability. Shifts could start as early as 6am, and finish at 12am.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
• Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of food safety concerns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
