Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Melbourne, Australia is seeking a cook to prepare and cook meals according to our recipe guide, using fresh ingredients and bold Mexican flavours. The role supports new and loyal guests across flexible shifts starting early morning and potentially finishing late at night.

As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests.

We are looking for cooks on either a full time or casual basis with flexible availability. Shifts can be anywhere from 5am onwards, and may finish at 1:30am.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
• Good understanding of food safety concerns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
