VU is recruiting for a Continuing, Part-time Clinical Placements Officer to organise, document and support student placements in the Clinical Psychology program. Based at MetroWest Footscray, you will work two days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) to coordinate activities across the Psychology Clinic and external agencies.

The role requires a Masters in Clinical Psychology, registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, and strong organisational and communication skills, with WWCC compliance

Qualifikationen

• Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with 4+ years' relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia; clinical endorsement preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to supervise practicum placements and manage confidential information.
• Must hold WWCC or be willing to obtain one; valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and manage administrative systems for student placements.
• Maintain placement databases with agency, student, and staff details.
• Prepare and distribute placement documentation and learning contracts.
• Liaise with clinical and community agencies across Victoria.
• Monitor student progress with site visits and reviews.
• Advise and support students on learning needs and placement issues.
• Support students in the VU Psychology Clinic and provide supervision as appropriate.
• Ensure placement documentation and WWCC compliance.
• Provide high-level administrative support to Psychology disciplines.
