Job summary

MacKillop is seeking a part-time Community Support Practitioner to deliver early intervention support for children, young people and families in Pakenham and Cardinia. The role is based at Mackillop Dandenong with daily work across partner sites, focusing on building trusted relationships and facilitating family-centered services.

You will engage with schools and early learning centres, maintain records, and participate in supervision and development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in social work, child development, psychology or related field.
• Diploma with substantial experience or progression towards Bachelor's is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver early intervention support to children, young people and families.
• Build trusted relationships with families, educators and community services.
• Maintain accurate case notes, records and reports; participate in supervision and professional development.
• Apply culturally safe and inclusive practices, including with Aboriginal communities.
