Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate and organised Chef to join the Woolloongabba East centre on a part-time basis, approximately 30 hours per week. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals that support health and development for children aged 0-5 years.

Previous chef or cook experience is preferred, with a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and Working with Children Check for QLD, or willingness to obtain. Be part of a team that values safety, care, and education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals for children aged 0-5.
• Cater for allergies, intolerances and dietary needs.
• Manage food ordering, budgeting, and stock control.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen adhering to Food Safety Standards.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership Team.
• Support child nutrition education and healthy eating.
