Job summary

Busy Bees on Bletchley in Western Australia is seeking a passionate and organised Chef to join our team on a part-time basis, approx 25 hours per week, delivering nutritious meals for children aged 0–5.

You will plan and prepare meals in line with Australian Dietary Guidelines, cater for allergies, manage orders and stock, maintain a clean kitchen, and work with the Centre Leadership Team to support learning around healthy eating.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook; childcare experience preferred.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen hygiene.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Commitment to child safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals for children 0–5.
• Cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural dietary needs.
• Manage food ordering, budgeting, and stock control.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen per Food Safety Standards.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership Team on nutrition education.
