Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate Chef for Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters on a full-time basis, approx. 38 hours per week, to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children aged 0-5 years.

The role offers a rewarding opportunity in a leading global early learning provider with 130+ centres across Australia and about 3,000 employees. You will support child safety, nutrition education and a positive kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef or Cook; childcare experience preferred.
• Current Working with Children Check (QLD) or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of dietary guidelines for children and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals per guidelines.
• Cater for allergies, intolerances and dietary needs.
• Manage food ordering, budgeting and stock control.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen per Food Safety Standards.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership Team.
• Support childrens learning about nutrition and healthy eating.
