Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a Part-Time Chef to join our team at a respected aged care facility in Wanneroo, WA. You will work with our Chef Manager to prepare fresh, nutritious meals that comfort residents and support their well-being.

Key qualifications include 3+ years in a similar role (aged care preferred), Cert III in Commercial Cookery, QA and HACCP knowledge, and reliable transport. Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role (aged care experience highly regarded).
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable transport and punctual with a can-do attitude.
• Strong focus on food safety, QA and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality meals in line with aged care food service and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist in menu design, changes and implementation.
• Assisting with deliveries and kitchen cleanup duties.
• Prepare a range of dishes including scones, cakes, desserts, soups.
• Prepare special diets such as puree, gluten free, texture modified.
• Stay organized and multi-task in a busy kitchen.
• Work harmoniously with the team in a result-oriented environment.
