The Kitchens is a hospitality group on the Mornington Peninsula, with four venues and a catering arm. We are seeking a part-time Chef to join The Kitchen in Tootgarook, delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner with our kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.

You will prepare and cook dishes to established recipes, maintain food safety standards, rotate stock, and help reduce waste while working a rotating roster including weekends. Award rates apply, with pay based on experience and duties.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a busy café, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong cooking skills and the ability to manage multiple orders during service.
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistency under pressure.
• Reliability, teamwork and pride in your work.
• Relevant cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Availability for a rotating roster, including weekends and some evenings.
