Job summary

Precision Pipe Technologies is expanding in Western Australia and seeks a Business Development Manager to bolster client relationships and identify new opportunities across water, wastewater, drainage and local government sectors.

The role is approximately two days per week with flexible arrangements. You will work alongside the Director and management to grow the business and align opportunities with PPT’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage, wastewater, civil construction or utilities.
• Experience with Water Corporation and local government clients.
• Understanding Water Corporation procurement and contracting processes.
• Strong professional networks within the relevant sectors.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience identifying, developing and converting business opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Desirable: pipe relining or trenchless rehabilitation experience.
• Flexible, part-time working arrangements.
• Work with an established and growing Western Australian contractor.
• Build on PPT’s existing government, utility and commercial relationships.
• Represent a capable operational business with a broad range of specialist services.

Responsibilities

• Identifying upcoming projects, tenders and contract opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with Water Corporation, local government and industry clients.
• Monitoring procurement pipelines, panels and forward work programs.
• Supporting tender and proposal strategies.
• Attending client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Following up enquiries, quotations and prospective projects.
• Promoting PPT’s drainage, CCTV, vacuum and trenchless rehabilitation capabilities.
• Assisting with capability statements, presentations and business development material.
• Maintaining a structured pipeline of opportunities and reporting on progress.
• Working with the operations team to ensure opportunities align with PPT’s capabilities and capacity.
