Job summary

Piped Up Plumbing is a growing plumbing company in Melbourne's south-east seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a permanent part-time or casual role. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, invoicing and reconciliations, using Xero and Simpro to keep accurate financial records.

The role offers flexible two days per week with a supportive team and potential for ongoing work as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Prior bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Xero Accounting Software.
• Experience using Simpro (preferred).
• Experience processing payroll and STP reporting.
• Understanding of construction or trade-based invoicing processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Payroll processing
• Customer invoicing and progress claims through Simpro
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Credit card and transaction reconciliations
• Monitoring and managing outstanding debtor balances
• Supplier payment processing
• Assisting with month-end reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and Simpro
• General bookkeeping and administrative duties as required
