Job summary

Bailey Nelson Australia Franchising Pty Ltd in Belconnen is seeking a Part Time Assistant Store Manager to lead retail operations with energy and customer-centred focus.

You will support the Store Manager and Optometrist, drive KPIs and sales targets, and coach a frontline team. This role offers hands-on dispensing training, internal progression, and a pathway to grow as we expand across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Passionate about creating great customer experiences.
• Confident with retail KPIs and achieving sales targets.
• Available to work Part Time across Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays for 30 hours a week.

• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
