Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy across two aged care homes in Allora. The role focuses on mobility, fall prevention and pain management, with telehealth support as needed.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and resident wellbeing. You will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, AHPRA registration, and strong clinical reasoning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• AHPRA registration as Physiotherapist is required
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
• Experience in aged care or community health is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy across two aged care homes
• Conduct mobility, balance and falls-prevention assessments and treatments
• Incorporate telehealth reviews when referrals require remote input
• Coordinate with GPs and other allied health professionals
• Document care and communicate with residents and families
• Support continuous quality improvement and governance initiatives
