Amana Living invites applications for a part-time Kitchenhand & Cleaning role at Kinross Care Centre Beach House. The position involves food preparation support, cleaning, and resident interaction, with a 26.5 hours per fortnight roster. You must commit to rostered shifts and complete a 2-day paid induction at the Rivervale Training Institute.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to hygiene standards, with vaccination and police clearance requirements in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Proven organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
• Willingness to attend 2 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
• Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
• Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values.
• Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice.
• Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others.
• Record any dietary changes on master print out.
• Check on stock requirements and replenish supplies as necessary.
• Attend 2 day paid induction at Rivervale Training Institute.
