Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a Kitchen Hand at Kinross Care Centre, Lake House, in the Northern Suburbs. You will assist with meal preparation, plate meals, and support residents while keeping kitchen areas clean and hygienic.

The role is part-time (30 hours per fortnight) with rotating shifts listed in Week 1 and Week 2. You will need to commit to all shifts and complete a paid induction at Rivervale Training Institute.

Qualifications

• Proven organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Evidence of Current Flu vaccination per Amana Living policies.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
• Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
• Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values.
• Record any dietary changes on master print out.
• Check on stock requirements and replenish shopping supplies as necessary.
• Attend 2 day paid induction at Rivervale Training Institute.
