Austin Health in Melbourne is seeking a part-time Administration Officer to support administrative operations of the Austin Operating Suites and related wards. You will assist with patient documentation, admissions, discharges, and smooth patient journeys across theatres and recovery areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across Surgery Centre and Austin Operating Suites.
• Make timely appointments and distribute discharge information to patients and GPs.
• Prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
• Maintain clinical files in line with policies and legislation (pre-admissions, discharge, admission).
• Screen and prioritise telephone calls and inquiries.
