Job summary

Duffy & Simon, a respected Australian law firm with nearly 50 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated accounts receivable officer for 2–3 days per week. This newly created role supports business growth and works closely with Partners and lawyers to manage arrears and payment arrangements.

You will negotiate settlements, deliver professional client conversations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing regular reports to the Partnership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar accounts receivable role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing outstanding accounts including client calls and correspondence
• Negotiate and setup of payment plans and settlements with clients
• Delivering exceptional customer conversations
• Regular reporting to Partnership group
• Adhere to all regulatory and legislative requirements
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collections performance
