Job summary

HorizonOne Recruitment is partnering with a purpose-driven not-for-profit in Canberra to recruit an Accounts and Payroll Officer on a 3-month, part-time contract. The role supports accounts payable, receivable, payroll and finance processes in a small team, with flexible hours and a central location.

You will process payroll for about 48–55 staff using Employment Hero, manage supplier invoices via NetSuite, and reconcile bank statements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across payroll, AP and AR within small to medium-sized private or not-for-profit organisations.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Employment Hero highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Process fortnightly payroll end‑to‑end for ~48–55 employees using Employment Hero.
• Complete corporate credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
