Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice seeks a Team Leader, Clerk Grade 8 for the Tumut/Junee Hub in Community Corrections. The role is based in the Junee Parole Unit and involves leading a team of Community Corrections Officers, overseeing complex caseloads and ensuring compliance with legislation and agency values.

You will guide staff with clear feedback, support professional development, and coordinate with releasing authorities, courts and stakeholders to manage risk and prepare

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence and willingness/ability to drive within NSW.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a cohesive team of Community Corrections Officers within the Junee Parole Unit.
• Oversee caseloads and prepare reports to releasing authorities and courts for sentencing; support individuals for release, including high-risk cases.
• Contribute to risk assessment, report writing and case management within a parole unit.
