Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking multiple Parks Operatives to maintain parks, gardens and public trees. You will work 36 hours over 4 days on a morning shift (6:00 AM–3:30 PM) in Liverpool.

Salary ranges from $76,034.68 to $83,067.44 plus 12% superannuation, with permanent full-time positions. Successful candidates will carry out weed control, rubbish removal, landscaping, park furniture repair, cleansing, and operate relevant plant and equipment, under the Parks Coordinator or Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Current MR Drivers License and WHS White Card required.
• Experience with Park and garden maintenance.
• Experience operating relevant equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Park furniture and equipment repair, making safe damaged infrastructure and surfaces.

Salary: $76,034.68 - $83,067.44 + 12% Super Location: Liverpool

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for multiple Parks Operative to join our Parks teams to provide quality-based maintenance services to Council's parks, gardens, and public trees in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for carrying out all works as directed by the Parks Coordinator/ or Team Leader in an effective and efficient manner which will include:

• Weed control, rubbish removal, landscaping, street tree planting.
• Park furniture and equipment repair, making safe damaged infrastructure and surfaces.
• Cleansing services.
• Operation of relevant plant and equipment.

ABOUT YOU

Our desired candidate will possess the following:

• To be successful in this position you must have a current Class MR Drivers License, WH&S General Induction (White Card)
• Experience with Park and garden maintenance
• Experience in operating relevant equipment and machinery
