Job summary

Bayside Council is seeking compassionate, hands-on team members to keep our parks and open spaces pristine. You will be mowing, maintaining verges and sports fields, clearing debris, and operating a variety of turf equipment while learning safe practices on the job.

This role offers hands-on training and a supportive workplace aligned with our community values. We provide a fortnightly RDO, Christmas leave, sick days, MyLeave, EAP access, Fitness Passport, and skin checks with flu vaccinations,

Qualifications

• General schooling to Year 10 or 12 and/or relevant experience.
• A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card).
• Current Driver's License.
• Current 'Chem Use' accreditation OR willingness to obtain during probation period.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and maintaining parks, verges and sports fields.
• Carrying out general park and grounds maintenance.
• Clearing litter and debris.
• Operating and maintaining a range of tools, machinery, and turf equipment.
• Learning safe and effective work practices on the job.
