Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot and by vehicle to enforce parking restrictions and local law requirements.
• Issue infringement notices accurately and in line with legislation, policy and procedure.
• Respond to community complaints and requests relating to parking, abandoned vehicles and obstructions.
• Provide clear, courteous advice to residents, businesses and visitors, including when handling difficult interactions.
• Prepare accurate notes, reports and evidence to support infringement reviews and prosecutions.
• Support school safety and shopping precinct parking initiatives.
• Use handheld devices and enforcement systems to record and manage data.

• Experience in parking enforcement, local laws, or a customer service or compliance role
• Sound knowledge of road rules and parking legislation (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and conflict de-escalation skills
• Strong attention to detail with a high standard of record keeping and report writing
• Confidence working independently outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfort using handheld devices and standard office software
