Job summary

The City of Hobart is seeking a Municipal Officer Level 1 to support the fair and efficient use of parking facilities through enforcement and helpful information to the community.

Based at the Council Centre, the role involves patrolling parking areas, issuing infringements, and delivering high-quality customer service. You will work a Tuesday to Saturday roster under the Enterprise Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Patrol on-street and off-street parking areas across Hobart.
• Issue parking infringements accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Provide high-quality customer service and parking information to residents and visitors.
• Respond professionally to public enquiries and challenging situations.
• Monitor and report faults with parking infrastructure, signage and enforcement assets.
• Assist customers within Council-operated parking facilities when required.
