Port Macquarie Hastings Council is seeking a Park Attendant to join the Parks Team. This permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight) maintains parks, reserves, gardens, and beaches to deliver safe, welcoming outdoor spaces for the community.
Duties include mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, pest control, and cleaning park facilities. A valid driver’s licence and practical horticulture experience are required.
$1214.41 per week plus 12% super + allowance

Join our Parks Team and make a difference in our local community! We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Park Attendant to help maintain and improve Council's parks, reserves, sports fields, road reserves, cemeteries, gardens, and beaches.
In this exciting and varied role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our local parks and open spaces. You'll undertake a range of tasks, from garden maintenance to asset upkeep of park infrastructure. As a valued member of our team, you'll help create safe and enjoyable outdoor spaces for our community to enjoy.
Employment type: Permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week with 9-day fortnight)
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $1,214.41 per week with the opportunity for competency-based progression up to $1,1359.30 per week.
