Job summary

are-able is seeking a Parents Pathway Mentor to support parents with children under six through personalised coaching and goal setting. This contract role covers parental leave, 3 days per week, from October 2026 to January 2028, helping participants pursue education and employment goals within the program.

You will work with families facing disadvantages, maintain case files, connect clients to services, and promote the program to local employers as part of business development.

Qualifications

• Requires Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Youth Work or Employment Services.
• Diploma level qualification required for Senior Mentor.
• Experience in employment or community sector with disadvantaged clients.
• Experience with case management is essential.

• Support participants to identify educational and employment goals.
• Coach and motivate participants.

• Promote the program to employers during business development.
