Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT in Darwin is seeking a Paramedic Clinical Educator on a 0.5 FTE basis to build education for TEMRS operations across remote settings. You will develop and deliver evidence-based clinical education for Paramedics, Patient Transport Officers and other clinicians, travel to Katherine and Gove as required.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, at least five years’ paramedic experience in out-of-hospital environments, and expertise in adult learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ paramedic experience in out-of-hospital environments.
• Current registration as a Paramedic with AHPRA.
• Experience preparing and delivering clinical education programs.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical education will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver practical, evidence-based clinical education for clinicians.
• Support orientation, onboarding and core skills assessment of new staff.
• Keep clinicians current with RFDS SA/NT policies and protocols.
• Address identified learning needs with targeted training and support.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and education packages.
• Travel to regional locations to deliver education and coaching.
