Job summary

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers Pty Ltd in Sydney's Wills & Estates practice is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support Partners and the team.

You will draft Wills, assist with estate administration, prepare company and trust documents, and conduct legal research.

This role offers a 3:2 hybrid model balancing in-office collaboration with work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a paralegal, ideally with exposure to Wills and Estates work.
• Capable to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Aptitude to interact directly with clients.
• Good drafting skills, involving attention to detail.
• Familiarity with PEXA is preferred but not a dealbreaker.

The Opportunity

Due to growth, we have an opening for an experienced Paralegal to join our highly regarded Sydney Wills and Estates practice group, working with Partners Guy Maloney and Josephine Pignataro and the team. As part of a close-knit team, you will support an interesting and broad mix of estate planning, estate litigation and estate administration work, gaining exposure to challenging and complex matters involving high net worth individuals.

The successful candidate will:

• Draft Wills and estate planning documents
• Assist with estate administration matters
• Prepare company and trust documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare file notes to support the team

To be successful in this role, you might have:

• 3+ years' experience as a paralegal, ideally with exposure to Wills and Estates work
