Job summary

Sparke Helmore is offering an exciting Paralegal role in its Statutory Lines Insurance team in Perth. You will work with Partners, gain exposure to worker’s compensation, personal injury, and public liability matters for major insurers, and assist with investigations, submissions, and litigation stages.

Ideal candidates are current 3rd or 4th year law students with prior paralegal experience, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Prior paralegal experience and exposure to litigation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Currently a 3rd or 4th year law student.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers with investigations, liaising with stakeholders, and drafting submissions.
• Undertake key stages in formal litigation and manage files and matter progression.
• Gain hands-on experience in litigation across a diverse range of matters.
