Job summary

Visy is seeking an experienced production leader to oversee the paper mill operations in Tumut. You will drive performance improvements, coordinate control optimisations, and lead safety-focused initiatives across the facility.

You will bring extensive papermaking expertise, a strong track record in production efficiency, and leadership experience to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in a paper manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of paper machine performance metrics and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the paper mill to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Develop and implement production plans to achieve quality, volume and cost objectives.
• Drive machine performance through root cause analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate process control optimisation with DCS and QCS specialists.
• Analyse production data to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead incident investigations and promote a strong safety culture.
