Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah seeks a highly experienced Social Worker to provide advanced clinical care within Palliative Care and the Motor Neurone Disease service. You will supervise teams, lead quality improvement, and deliver education to multidisciplinary colleagues and students on placement.

The role requires postgraduate Social Work qualifications, eligibility for AASW membership, and a commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Social Work qualification required and eligibility for AASW membership.
• Extensive post graduate Social Work clinical experience in Palliative Care or progressive neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality Social Work care within Palliative Care and MND services.
• Supervise, lead quality improvement initiatives and deliver education to other health professionals.
• Teach students on clinical placement and participate in service evaluation.
