Far West Local Health District is seeking a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced palliative nursing in a remote NSW setting. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret diagnostics, and implement treatment plans for patients with life-limiting illness across care settings.
The role requires registration as an Australian RN with NP endorsement and a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including 3 years in palliative care.
The Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice role comprising comprehensive assessment, interpretation of diagnostics, and implementation of treatment modalities within the Specialist Palliative Care setting. Palliative Care NP provides independent and collaborative expert palliative care nursing for patients with life limiting illness, particularly in complex cases and across care settings
