Aussie Painters Network in Australia is recruiting Painting Apprentices to join their growing teams. You will work alongside qualified painters and receive hands-on experience, mentoring, and ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship.

As an apprentice, you will perform measurements, read plans, prepare surfaces, and assist with painting tasks including textured finishes. Eligibility includes Australian working rights and a White Card, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualificações

• Interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship and starting a career in painting.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• Physical ability to perform manual labour and handle materials.
• Holder of a White Card or ability to obtain one quickly.

About the Role

As a Painting Apprentice, your duties will include:

• Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
• Handling painting and decorating materials
• Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
• Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
• Preparing surfaces for painting
• Applying paint using brushes and rollers
• Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, and spray

Requirements

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A genuine interest in undertaking aPainting Apprenticeship
• A White Card, or the ability to obtain one ASAP
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• The ability to follow instructions and take direction
• Trustworthiness and motivation

Preferred (but not essential):

• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Previous painting or construction-related work experience an advantage
• Paid apprenticeship withon-the-job training
• Ongoing mentoring from experienced, qualified painters
• Nationally recognised qualification upon completion
