Job summary

Jobstar on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced painter to join our small team. The role covers residential repaints and new builds across the Sunshine Coast, with 32.0–40.0 hours per week and pay between $35.00 and $45.00 per hour.

We value reliable, pride in prep and finish, and the ability to work independently. Own basic tools and a driver’s license are preferred; we’re offering consistent work and ongoing employment for the right person.

We are looking for an experienced painter to join our small team.

We’re a local Sunshine Coast business with plenty of work ahead and are currently heavily booked through the rest of the year.

We need someone who knows their way around a paintbrush, takes pride in their prep and finish, turns up when they say they will and is happy to get stuck in.

Most of our work is residential, including repaints and new builds across the Sunshine Coast.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Solid painting experience
• Good prep and finishing skills
• A good work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Your own basic tools
• Trade qualification is great, but experience and quality of work are just as important to us
