Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Painter role based in Redcliffe, QLD. The Painter will prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming, and will apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Daily tasks include mixing and matching paint colors, protecting surrounding areas, following safety and environmental guidelines, and maintaining tools and equipment. The role also involves reading job specifications, working to quality and time standards, collaborating with team members and supervisors, and providing a professional experience for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Paint, Painting, and Painting and Decorating for a range of interior and exterior surfaces.
• Knowledge of Coatings, including selection and application of suitable products for different materials and environments.
• Experience with Spray Painting, including safe operation of spray equipment and achieving consistent finishes.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
• Ability to follow job plans and instructions, manage time effectively, and complete work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in professional painting or trade-related work; relevant trade certification or apprenticeship completion is an advantage.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, work at heights or on ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to Redcliffe, QLD, and flexibility to work standard full-time hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
