Job summary

PCM Group is an Australian owned company delivering safe industrial maintenance solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled PAINTER to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years’ painting experience and a Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent. Candidates should have a Coal Board Medical or BMA Health Assessment, White/Blue Card, and a current MR/HR licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent.
• White/Blue Card and Coal Board Medical or BMA Health Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Select paints and finishes for various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
• Prepare surfaces and complete works to specifications.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces; erect scaffolding and ladders.
• Clean equipment and work areas.

They are now seeking highly skilled PAINTER to join their team of professionals on a full-time and permanent basis

Ideal applicants will possess the following: At least 3 years’ experience Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent

Coal Board Medical / BMA Health Assessment Construction Induction (White or Blue Card) Current Drivers Licence (MR or HR class is desirable)

High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift (desirable) MSIC Card (desirable) Must have great work ethics and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Understand surface preparation and finishes. Be able to understand and complete works to specifications. Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.

Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers. Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness. Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Erecting scaffolding and ladders. Cleaning equipment and work areas. This is an exciting opportunity in a successful contracting organisation.
