Qualifications

• Completion of Year 12 or equivalent, with a strong eagerness to complete a vocational WHS certificate.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff and accurately document safety issues.
• Exceptional organisational skills and high accuracy when managing safety records and data.
• Familiarity with standard office software (Word, Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

• Document Control: Update, organise, and maintain safety databases, registers, and OH&S policies.
• Assisting Inspections: Accompany senior safety officers on routine workplace walk-throughs and hazard checks.
• Training Support: Help set up and coordinate internal safety training sessions and keep attendance records.
• Incident Reporting: Assist in logging workplace incidents, injuries, and near-miss reports into the safety management system.
• Communication: Answer basic safety queries from staff and promote a proactive safety culture across departments.
