Job summary

MRAEL is seeking a Construction Field Supervisor (Contract) in Scarborough, Australia, to oversee trainees completing their Certificate I in Construction. You will supervise on-site activities, coach participants, and ensure safe, productive work practices in line with WHS and SQW requirements.

You'll coordinate daily tasks, maintain safety records, and collaborate with project staff, the RTO, and community partners to align learning with training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification, White Card and a valid Driver's Licence are required.
• Strong knowledge of WHS and risk management is essential.
• Experience supervising construction trainees is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision & coordination: supervise daily activities per project requirements.
• Mentor trainees with practical construction skills on the job site.
• Conduct toolbox talks, manage hazards and safety records.
• Monitor attendance, performance and progress of trainees.
• Liaise with project staff, community partners and the RTO to align outcomes.
