Job summary

nbn is offering a permanent full-time Trainee Customer Field Technician role, designed to attract Women and First Nations people. As a trainee you will connect customers to the internet in the field, supported by experts, while you work toward a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over a 12-month program and gain practical on‑the‑job skills.

The program includes paid training, a nationally recognised qualification paid for by nbn, a dedicated work vehicle, tools, clothing and safety gear,

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience would be beneficial.
• Willingness to complete a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology during the traineeship.
• Ability to work in the field and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet.
• Be employed on a permanent full-time basis with leave entitlements.
• Work towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship.
• Be supported by experts in the field to complete your traineeship.
