Job summary

Mediix Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary paediatric practice on the Sunshine Coast. The role focuses on paediatric communication needs, with time to work with families and colleagues from other disciplines, offering a coastal lifestyle close to beaches.

The role is 100% paediatric, with flexible hours and a mentor-driven environment. Starting from $90k plus super, with clinic-based work and light travel, plus a 9-day fortnight option.

Qualifications

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (or eligible) with current Speech Pathology Australia membership.
• Paediatric experience, ideally with complex or neurodivergent caseloads.
• Comfortable working with NDIS funded clients, goals and reporting.
• Family-centred approach and ability to guide parents and children.
• Team-oriented, collaborative and open to input from colleagues.
• Evidence-based, curious and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Permanent, full time or flexible structure to suit you.
• 100% paediatric caseload with no adult cases.
• Caseload may include fluency, AAC, developmental language disorders, literacy, ASD/ADHD.
• Joint sessions with OT, psychology and play therapy when needed.
• Occasional school/home/community support, mainly clinic-based with minimal travel.
