Job summary

VisAbility is seeking a Speech Pathologist (Paediatric) in Victoria Park, WA, offering a permanent full-time position. The role welcomes new graduates and involves delivering evidence-based paediatric speech therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You’ll manage a caseload, utilise NDIS funding knowledge, and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and deliver timely, effective therapy.
• Solid understanding of disability services, person-centred practices, and NDIS.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Confident working within an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong administrative and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client appointments.
• Understanding of funding models, specifically the NDIS.
• Experience providing paediatric disability speech pathology services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and carers to set and progress person-centred goals.
• Improve communication, social participation and feeding outcomes through assessment and therapy.
• Maintain a well-managed caseload meeting service targets and standards.
• Recommend appropriate assistive technology and provide clear guidance for use.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team for coordinated support.
• Ensure accurate records, plans and documentation with timely updates.
• Maintain current knowledge through supervision, professional development and clinical consultation.
